If it is the fuel pump squeezing the primer bulb will help it to run.If it runs on choke but not without most likely you have a gummed up carb and will need to rebuild with special attention to cleaning.

It's a 1984 35hp Evinrude. It ran completely fine yesterday when i pulled people on a tube, then today, nothing... Really odd. I filled up with gas, but i'm pretty sure it isn't bad gas.

Did you check the vent on the tank?

Metal or Plastic tank? Possible some debris is clogged somewhere. I personal would start at the tank and work my way to the motor, making sure everything is clean and tight. Do you have an extra tank and hose that you can test? If none of that works then you will probably have to rebult the carb.
