Gentleman,
I have been trying to research a no spark issue with my 35hp Force 2 cylinder motor. It's model number is 357F6A serial number 1895. In doing research looking at cdielectronics.com http://www.cdielectronics.com/downloads/troubleshooting guide/DVA Chart - Chrysler-Force.pdf
They have Force 35hp motor's as being from 1978-1984 & 1987-1991. No how do I own an 86' if they have no record of it? I am trying to figure out what are the parts and information on my engine. On my engine it there is a sticker that states it has a magneto, yet on ********** or Iboats.com it offers an alternator ignition setup for my year engine. It is very hard to repair my motor with this conflicting information. I have included pictures and if anyone can direct me to an official site where I might find out what exactly my motor is, or what it has for electronics that would be great. I don't know what the fuel ratio is either. This engine is new to me, as is the boating world. I just got the boat and motor last weekend. Thank you.
Scott

Re: 35hp motor information

With these good Pics and info I feel you will get some good help soon. My 1970 35 HP Chrysler is an Uncle Or Grand to your motor. I doubt it has points and condensers if it?s 1980 or younger.
