35th Americas Cup - June 17, 2017

Hi everyone, somewhat of a new member here. I mostly read through the Mercruiser engine repair forums and don't know much about sailing. However, I had an opportunity to go to Bermuda this past weekend for the 35th Americas Cup. Saw some nice boats and got some unique photos I thought I'd share for the sailing enthusiasts here. I was able to go to the team USA boat yard and watch them assemble the boat for the race. I also had a front row view from the water of the start line. Enjoy

Cool ... those boats are pretty amazing. They can run in the 50MPH range in the right conditions. Musta' been fun to watch that launch off.

No doubt. It was really neat seeing how they just glide over the water when they're up on the foils.
