3Bs captains school / testing prep school

I am thinking about taking my 6PAK / OUPV license with the 3Bs captains school. has anyone else here worked with this company before?<br /><br />I want to get my skippers license as a fallback to my current career (currently a software engineer, getting sick of the business)....<br /><br />Their tuition doesn't seem bad, $795 including all tests and workbooks.<br /><br />Are there any other good skipper schools in the mid atlantic area? (I'm in NJ)... If necessary I could fly to another area (i have about a bajillion frequent flier miles) if the price is right or the school is better. I'm mainly looking for bang for my buck.<br /><br />Any advice or insight would be awesome.

Hello JerseyJim, check out SEASCHOOL.COM I was going to go throgh these people pretty much for the same reason you are but it didn't work out for me, job went south so I didn't have time. I don't think it was as much as you mentioned as far as price but don't remember exact figure. Hope this helps!!<br /><br />TAZ
