OK, I picked up this not running 1966 Lightwin 'Folder' at a bargain, after some cleaning up, it looked in very good condition. The first thing I checked was the spark, it had none. So I ran a file through the points and viola, good snappy blue spark! So I flushed and dumped some gas through the tank, replaced the fuel line & spark plugs, put it in water and fired it up. It would not stay running with throttle in 'start position unless I kept pulling the choke on and off. Even after warm up. So I got a kit and went through the carb. Now it will start and run on low idle, but try to move throttle up and it dies about 1/2 throttle...??? I kept pulling the fuel line off the carb to see that gas was still running out. I noticed that there is no Hi-speed needle valve like my older engines...??? I believe I adjusted the float to spec...??? I did replace the needle & seat. I did not replace the coils even though they look original because I didn't see any cracks and it has good spark in both cylinders cold and warmed up...??? There of course are a lot of extra parts in the kit, did I miss anything...??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
