4.3 Exhaust manifolds

Has anyone here ever used the new aluminum manifolds? Wondering how they hold up.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... So long as ya get good castings, they'll work Ok in freshwater,....

In the brine, I doubt they'll last all that long,....

Just stay away from GLM products. I have had horrible luck with those.

I've got some from aftermarket marine parts but won't buy anything from them again.They owe me money back and a part.keep tell me they are gone send it.sence Christmas.
Back to mantifolds, I haven't had them long enough to tell yet.I did have trouble with one bolt striping out and had to put a heli coil, also had to find longer bolts to catch as much threads as posiable.
They gave me to short of bolts.Another isue with them.They are a lot light, only time will tell I guess.

Thanks for the help. The reason I am considering them is for the weight savings, I only use this boat in freshwater. I was wondering if they were from China like everything else these days.
