Ayuh,... What's the issue you're having with the fitment anyways,..??
Chevy's have always used 2 different flywheels,... 12", 153 tooth,+ 14", 168 tooth,....
Then of course there are 2 more of the same, but smaller bolt patterns for the change in crankshafts in 86/87....
The oe 4.3 out of the boat had a 2piece rear main the new 4.3 has a 1 piece rear main the flywheels bolts on the crank are not the same. old flywheel has 153 the new 1 has 168 can i get 1 that has 153 to fit the new 1
Does the 168T clear the flywheel cover,..??
Will the Volvo coupler bolt to it,..??
What does Volvo use on those drives,..?? Flex plate style, or rubber coupler style,..??
The flywheel 168 is 2 big to fit in the bellhousing
it uses a flex plate on the flywheel and wont bolt to it
i gess what i am looking 4 is a a 153 that will bolt to the newer stile crank
were would i find 1 ????
