4.3 head gasket, do i re torque after changing

I just changed the head gaskets on my 1995 4.3 and have heard that i need to re torque after warm up. I have been a mechanic all my life and have not done that on autos but dont want to do it wrong on a boat

Ok i just wanted to check, im sure glad cause i got the engine out now and once i put it back in and run it it will sure be a job to re torque them again
