4.3 loosing power

I have a 1995 bayliner 4.3 4brl carb. It looses power after just a min or so after i gas on it, it boggs down but still runs, acts like a fuel problem cause it dont miss just luggs real bad. I changed fuel filter, pump, cleaned carb, changed check in tank all with no resilts its driving me crazy

Ignition Coil?

Put a new coil on just a few weeks ago, i did put a billet disrtib in it too but it ran fine after that, new plugs, wires cap rotor

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,....... What did ya find In the old filter ya took off,..?? Did ya Test the fuel pump, or just bolt on a new one,..?? What did ya find checkin' the tank,..?? How'd ya check the tank,..?? 'n What do ya mean ya "Cleaned" the carb,..?? as in a Full On Rebuild,..??

Found nothing in filter, just put on new pump cause i thought it was it, tank i took out check and took off line at carb and pumped 5 gal of gas thew it to see if flow decreased any after a bit, and carb i took off and apart, cleaned, checked floats and put back together

Try running it w/o the fuel fill top on..............maybe the vent is clogged.

So what happens. If you apply throttle does it take off for one minute and then start to lug? Does it pop? Does it bog?

Yes it will take off then slowly start to bogg down, if u let it go long enough i will sometimes backfire n die but not alwayse, if u let it idle for a min it will run again for another 30 seconds or so then start to bogg again usually down to around 1500 rpm
