Hello, I have a boat that buzzes and sets high engine oil pressure. Checked about all can check. I’m wounding if it’s ecu? When bring it up on diagnostics laptop oil pressure reads 55 psi without motor running. I replace oil pressure switches. I have ohm the wires, from ecu to connector on switches. I did see slight read on pink/black and blue/black. Mine has 3 wires on switch. Other wire is kinda tan or light brown. Then blue wire goes to single post oil switch.

What software are you using, Diacom?

Wires on your motor should be Blu/Blk Sense and Blk/Pnk Ground, the other wire should be Gray +5V

Should se exactly 5V on the Gray wire

Should not have a full 5V on Blu/Blk
Sensor is bad or wire has a break in connection

Im
I don't know what it should read disconnected, my guess is it should be 5 though
not sure either, I was thinking it shouldn’t because it’s the sensor input. Output is 5v then whatever comes out of oil sensor volts would read pressure. That’s my thinking. The troubleshooting in service manual saying it could be ecu. But I’m just making sure that’s it. Boat only has 55 hours on engine. I tried new sensor switch didn’t change. Just weird it shows 55 psi without motor running engine running, most of them time it shows 0
