Long time listener, first time caller.....

4.3 OMC Cobra with a Holley 2bbl 3250 carburetor. I'm having an issue with that choke flap not opening up when the motor gets warm. It stays closed while cold but bareeeeeely opens when it warms up

Is the electric choke suppose to read 12v with the switch on ? While it's running ? I have my multimeter checking for voltage but not getting anything

I'm thinking the positive cable runs up to the ignition system

It may be wired to the AC tap terminal on the alternator. Keep in mind for it to work it must also have a return path (ground).
Post up a good close pic of the back side of your alternator.
