4.3 to 5.0

What all would be required to go from a 4.3 to a 5.0 of the same year. I have a buddy that has a tired 4.3 and I have a good 5.0 that I am upgrading to a 5.7 this weekend so he would be getting a complete long block.

Ayuh,... That's of little help to him,...
He needs a Fully Dressed bobtail replacement motor, not a stripped long block...
He'll also need a different gear ratio in the drive...

For that matter, a 4.3l, 4bbl. carbed motor makes as much Horsepower as a 2bbl. carbed 305...

That is kind of what I figured I was already steering him in the direction in a reman 4.3 but he really doesn't have the cash for it right now so I figured I'd try and help him out. He was actually going to be getting a complete engine minus the distributor and flywheel.
