I have a 4.3 V6 Mercruiser 2000 and would like to install an engine electrical harness. I changed the Car from a 2BB to a 4BB. I am looking for a video or a schematic on how to install the harness from ground zero. Any help will be appreciated.

should not need to change the harness if you just change the carb.

the harness is not that difficult. the wires are color coded to tell you what they connect to. see the electrical forum for the ABYC color coding

The issue is that I have the engine on the ground as I am revamping the engine. I am not getting any spark and the engine is not igniting. So I have install everything new Distributor cap, ignition coil, , Plugs and wires, Coil, Solenoid, new battery, well Charged, So I tested the ICM and found that I was only getting 11.6 V and everywhere else I am getting 12.8V. I replace the ICM 4 Time same results. I took off the Harness and I bought one that was close to the one it had, however, I have to do some adjustments as I believed that maybe there is erosion on some wires. I need to get a Diagram for the 4.3 V6 Alpha Mercruiser Electrical Wire Diagram for a 2000. I have replace everything new on the engine. The engine Stars but does not run. I check for spark to the distributor and Plugs no Spark. However, there is Spark from the coil to the Distributor. This has been a head scratcher. I really can use some help.

this is the first thread of yours where you stated anything other than the low voltage. you have multiple threads on the same topic which is not allowed

since you are now stating you have 11.6 volts at the ICM and 12.8 volts everywhere else, you have a connection problem.

start at the battery, and clean every connection to the block/starter/harness ..... all the way to the helm and back

the factory wiring diagram for your motor is in the factory manual

that is available http://publications.brunswick.com/ or thru your local dealer
