Hello I have been messing with a 2000's volvo 4.3 carburated. The customer hooked the battery up assbackwards so far I have replaced the alternator and fuel pump relay. The problem that it's having is the fuel pump only runs in the crank position than it looses power. There are two diodes on the green wire and the yellow red wire on the main engine harness I removed them and used a battery and my test light they seem to be doing there thing. I am confused and quite pissed any ideas???? I'm not much of a volvo engine guy I like to stick to doing the drives this is really throwing me through loops any experianced help would be very appreciated.
