Hi long time lurker first time poster - I have a 2007 4.3L Merc with a 2bbl carb and TKS. I found these wires hanging out but attached together. Anyone know what they do or otherwise go to? Other than taking a long time to start (whether its hot or cold), the boat runs fine.
I tried to re-attach the picture. Let me know if it works or not. I can see it on my computer, even the first picture...but when I look at this thread with my smartphone the picture is indeed missing. Anyways...the colors I think are orange, black, and brown...right now they are all tied together under a piece of electrical tape.
And the only time I have seen Mercathode is on a Bravo drive. Like I posted before the harness is used on many boats with different configurations.
