'02 Searay280DA with T/4.3L, Alpha I. Two weeks ago my starboard engine at initial start up fired right off. Next time it would turn but was getting no fire. Changed the ignition sensor and corrected the problem. Well, my port engine did the exact same thing this past weekend. So, replaced the ignition sensor but this time had some issues getting the old sensor out. First of all had to destory the rotor due to corrosion, then one of the screws to the sensor broke off while trying to back it out so had to remove the distributor, there was a nut on the backside of the screw and that's why it broke off
. Once the new snsor was back in and assembled the distributor a new problem arose. Now I'm not getting any juice to that motor. When I press the start button, the two beeps nor the fuel pump engages. The batteries are good and there are not breakers tripped.
Anyone have any suggestions before I take it back to my mechanic?
