4 Strokes -- Suzuki vs. Yamaha

Has anyone had a chance to demo both the Yamaha 225 Four Stroke and the Suzuki 250 Four Strokes? What differences could I expect with these motors on a 30' walk around style boat?

I've run both motors on similar boats. A new 225 4-stroke Suzuki will out accelerate an F225 Yamaha and be more responsive in the mid-range. Top speeds are close. There is no comparison between a 225 and a 250, the 250 will win out.

I have heard rumors and know of three cases of the 250 suzukis ingesting water into the crankcase, dont know if this is unique to our area or not.....
