Does anyone know where the extra wire on the 4 wire vro pump go to when installing on a 3 wire setup? Also this boat never had a temp sensor buzzer installed, any idea how to wire the buzzer? Thanks
hello <br /> can ya give us a bit of info? like approximate age of the motor. what wire colors are you chasing(purple I assume) and did you buy the kit or a used VRO? what kind of controls do you have?
the 4th wire is purple you need to find a purple wire on motor terminal strip just connect the purple here<br />note some 3 cylinder models have no purple wire on motor side of red plug you need to splice into purple wire from control side of plug<br />note purple wire is switched ignition it is used to "turn on chip" in vro/oms pump
If your dealer ordered you the correct "VRO" pump kit, it comes with the 4th wire and connector, plus instructions on how to hook it up.<br /><br />Like Rodbolt asked, what is the model number?
