4 wires that go to both sides of motor

is this the tilt motor stop switch its on both sides of the engine where is pivots...if it is how important is it cause the wires are cut.

Hi Bigkash...can you give us some idea of the type (name) of motor we are talking about and possibly the year? If not sure of the year, give us a model number.

its a 83 mercury 200hp...
