Upon traveling 1350 miles this year for the annual pike fishing derby, my 40 hp Evinrude decided to only run on one cylinder. I Changed the plugs to find that the lower plug was covered in water. The cylinder still has fire and gas feed. This problem happened very sudden while the motor was running on the third day after 5 minutes of continuous operation. Any suggestions?<br /><br />If it is the head gasket, is that a big issue to replace and is there a manual that does step by step with pull-apart diagrams?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for your help!
