40 HP Johnson Seahorse Identification help.

I have a 40 HP Johnson SeaHorse Electric. It came to me on a 1965 Starcraft Arrow 14ft. No idea if its the Original motor and i cannot find any of the Model numbers ive seen on the web. Nor can i find them in the places ive read to find them on the engine.

Any help on identifying the motor so i can get a Impeller and some other parts ordered would be great. Thanks

Have you looked between the clamps, right above the lock latch? Late 1960s or 1970 model based on lower cowl paint colour and style of fuel pump. The upper cowl(cover), based on the trim looks like a 1964 - 65.
Is the front half of the crankcase white, and the back half dark green?

Bingo. Right above the lock latch under 1/4 inch of gunk was a stamped plate. Model RDSL-27M

'65, based on the model number. Might have the original rig.
