You might consider removing them and just connect the fuel line directly. No worry about breaking them again. Ya can't break what ain't there. If the line is long enough, it should work just fine. And if you have portable tanks, you can still disconnect them. You don't have to take the line along with them. You also remove a major source for leakage. The way I see it, it's a Win/Win solution. You don't have to hunt parts, you can do it right now and be on the water today, and it won't cost ya nuthin.

<br /><br />About the only way I see that a removable fuel line would be advantageous is with motors you take off the boat when you're done with them. For bolt-on motors, I think they're foolish. Too many potential problems and no practical advantages that I can think of.
