e - Evinrude<br />40 - 40 hp<br />rw - commercial with interlock<br />l - long shaft (20")<br />co - 85<br />m - model run (this number isn't really all that important to us, it's like a batch number)<br /><br />Tashasdaddy, how did you get 94?<br /><br />As R.Johnson said though, there should not be points in that motor, it should have power-packs on the side of the motor and a electronic sensors to fire them under the fly wheel. It is possible that someone removed the correct ignition and replaced it with an older ignition system.
