yea right its New York law now under 21 foot until april you have to wear or get a fine up to $250.00

$300 here if you get caught without ownership (48hrs to prove it). Maybe there is a market for t shirts with life jackets on them, crap, I just let out my get rich quick plan!!!!

Guys I ran the engine with the lower unit off and a garden hose to the water pickup tube she ran ice cool, so with that and the lower unit I tested in a bucket spinning with a hand drill in the drive shaft and the impeller pumped water, what could be my next step on why this engine runs hot when all together and I have a picture of the engine with the lower unit off and running and flowing water but don't know how to up load it to the site, any other advice on this topic Thanks Bob

OK so I am a little confused at this point.
Did you use anything to flush it other than clean water ?? (salt away or similar)
You will be getting a lot more water volume and pressure on the hose I would imagine, therefore increasing the amount of cooling water getting through the system.
I am still on the water flow restriction page when the lower unit is in place and pumping instead of the hose pressure.

I am working on now learning how to resize the picture, when I got that I will try to send the picture again, Now with this salt away is there a powder form I can mix into a drom and run a couple engines or is it direct connect and washed down the drain, and if so where can this powder be bought Thanks Bob

Looks good to me, did you put it back together and test it after you flushed it, may have cured the problem!

Not yet but this was the first I ever ran with out a lower unit attached, and When I do i will let you know how I made out Thanks alot I will also run that salt away after I put her back together again thanks Bob

finally got to run the engine all together and now she runs cool, I guess running it with the lower unit off must have cleared the block, and so I guess i will still try that salt away flush, one thing I am going to try to carve a slot into a rubber ball and drill a hole from the other side and strap in place along with a garden hose, A home made adaptor, its to bad they don't make one for this engines water intake "Guys Thanks A Lot Bob"
