I was just reviewing my 401k and using some of the projection tools available with it. Seems that for me to retire at age 67 and maintain a similar standard of living as I now have through to my mid 80's, I will need to save about 4 million in the next 17 years. No kidding.
Calculations on my current and forcasted income, savings potential, and market conditions indicates I will fall a few million short of my projected needs.
So I am starting the "Mark42 Sanctioned Retirement Support Fund for the Savings Challenged".
Anyone care to donate to the Fund?
