hey guys, ive recently bought a 1992 40hp mercury classic, and i havent run it yet, but i have it on a stand in my garage. i tried to spin the prop with my hand, and it spun freely, but it made a sound like there was a little sand around where the lip of the prop meets the housing for it to spin in the lower unit, is that what this could be? is it a problem? what should i do about it? is there something wrong with the bearing?
