Talking with a friend, she took her 91 cobalt mirage with a 454 magnum out to a lake yesterday here's what she said
"I'm not sure we took it to fort peck night before last and it started right up we stayed the night on the lake and went to start it the next morning and it just clicked and didn't want to start but we have a small trolling motor that we hooked to the battery and that worked so I think it might be the starter I'm not sure"
I told her to check batteries shes says there brand new and her battery gauge is reading full
Here's some more of our conversation
"It's a brand new battery and we just had the cables fixed before we winterized it"
"It will start if we charge the batter but only for a few seconds than it will die and just click"
"It won't fire any more after it started for that few seconds it just clicks and the gage reads full battery on both of my batteries it has plenty of oil in it we just unwinterised it and took it out it ran fine when we first put it in and than we let it sit over night and it stopped working"
Any help would be awesome THANKS EVERYONE!!
