470 Carb Question

Disclaimer- I have the manual but cant quite determine which carb I have.

I see one screw in the body beyond the plates but dont know for sure if its the Rochester or the Merc carb.

can one of you experts please weigh in ?

its a 1987 Mercruiser 224ci 470 engine.

Looks like a Mercarb to me.

Aint never seen a pink carburetor before.....

it adds 10hp! you should give it a shot

(actually its red.. until I rebuild it)
