470 valve lash settings

I would like to set the valves on my 1977 470 mercury. I was wondering if anyone knew the cold settings.

You do not set the valve lash on a 470, it is set by the pushrod length. You have to collapse the lifter with a special tool and measure the gap at the rocker, the only way to change it is to change the length of the pushrod.
