474-9550 wiring harness to MP41000 key switch

New member here!! Working on a 1980 Mercury 20hp. Was wanting to know if it possible to wire a 474-9550 wiring harness into a MP41000 key switch.

Okaye.....does the connector fit your engine? Do the wires on the new harness have identical colors? Can you unwrap the engine wiring harness so as to follow a wire from point A to point B?
