Of course I didnt pay attention when I removed the cylinder motor cover and now need assistance. When reinstalling the spring and thermostat relief valve, the manual states to put the tapered side of the relief valve must face the rubber grommet. I just want to make sure that I am doing it the right way. I am assuming they are speaking about the lip the circles around the middle? The middle of the valve has a flat side and a concave side. Is the concave side what they refer to as the tapered side?
