Due to excessive torque on the exhaust manifold drain, appears one crack on the manifold.
There is only a small leak that disappears when the engine is hot (working with flushing, not in water).
With seal on the drain I think the leak will stop.
My concern is with the boat in water, more rpm, more temperature, more pressure, if it will be safe this exhaust manifold?
Thanks

cracks are never a good thing in a manifold. with thermal cycles the crack may not spread.... or it may propagate to the exhaust port. i say get a new one.

I'm with Scott, get a new one. Cast iron doesn't lend itself very well to welding. Hard to tell from the pic, but that brass fitting looks off kilter like it's cross threaded.

Ayuh,..... It might rust shut, 'n last forever,.....

I'd make darn sure the bilge pump is up to snuff though,....

Weldin' it would probably make it worse,....
