Is it that hard to install an Impeller? It seems too big for the water pump, I have to bend the tabs to get it to go in the pump..Is this normal?? Is there an easier way to install it???? S/N..0m624941 and impeller 47-862232A 2...But its so tight and will stay bent(the Vanes) when I finally get it in.

That is normal. The housing they move around in is eccentric and they have to maintain their seal all the way around, that is how that type of pump works.

If you want more specifics about the installation include your drives year and make and engine.

Put some Joy soap on the impeller and push in and twist till it goes onto the shaft, then just turn the pulley and push at the same time. It will go, but they are tight.
The vanes will be bent on one side, that's what makes the pump work.
