5.0 OMC spark plugs and wires

I searched and was surprised i couldnt find a direct answer to this. The plugs that OMC recommends in the manual are discontinued. So, i was thinking of switching up to NGKs anyways and changing the wires at the same time. My question is, does anyone have a recommended NGK plug # that works on it, and what wires would be good for a marine upgrade application?

I found answers for the mercruiser, and cant imagine the OMC 5.0 is any different but I wanted to see what others had found.

Ayuh,... It's an old Chevy,... You can't go wrong with AC Delco, MR43T plugs...

Stock wires are completely up to the task...
