5.0L Volvo GL Compression Normal Range?

Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing a boat, had it checked out at a mechanic and they reported that the engine had 190psi across all cylinders. It's a 2004 w/ 77hrs on it. Does this sound about right or have they buggered up doing the test? I'm not sure what the normal ranges are.

WOOT! Can't wait to pick it up this weekend! 16 hour return trip and all.

Now to pick up a spare bearing set and a spare tire for the trailer for the 800km tow home.

Good idea, we drove about the same distance to pickup our current boat last summer, the trailer didn't come with a spare so I took the one from my old boat. About half way home I found out it would not quite fit the fender well, when a tire on the new trailer blew.

Fortunately a HP officer pointed us to a tire store about a 1/2 mile away and called them to open the store for us (Sunday). About an hour or so later we had two new one's and were on our way. Its a 2004 boat as well, with the same engine.

Hope you have better luck on your trip, we love the boat though.
