It might not make noise depending on the failure. If the splines stripped out yes that would make noise, if the rubber failed no noise but you’d smell rubber burning & find rubber dust in the bilge.
The OMC/Volvo couplers are not prone to stripping because they don’t use aluminum for the center splines like some Mercs used. The way to make it last is to maintain engine alignment & pull the drive each season & grease the driveshaft splines.

I checked for rubber in bilge aswell as well as the rest of surrounding areas no rubber anywhere also not really a burning rubber smell either. I don’t think I would be able to putt in 5miles on a spun coupler. It would just disintegrate on me. I think it must be prop by the sounds of it.

Don't go adjusting the Secondary Air Valve Spring just yet, as I have never seen one that went out of Calibration by itself. There is another device that controls how fast the Air Opens, and prevents it from opening too soon. On Most Q-jets that will be the Primary Choke Pull Off. It has a Leaky Diaphragm, it will not crack open the Choke on Engine Startup, and it will not restrain the Air Valve.

Umm, looking at the Video, I see fuel dripping from the Primary Throttle Shaft. If it is indeed leaking from the shaft, and not dripping on to it from above, the Throttle Body is badly worn, and needs to be replaced as it is An Explosion waiting to happen. Marine Carbs are required by Coast Guard Regulations to channel any fuel on the Throttle Shaft, into the Intake Manifold, and not allow it to exit externally.
