5.7 Volvo Penta harmonic balancer removal

I'm replacing the motor in my Four Winns deckboat. What type of puller does it take to remove the harmonic balancer on a 5.7 liter Volvo Penta? In order to get to that part I need to remove the impeller housing. I pulled the 4 screws out to remove the cover but don't see how to remove the backing plate.
What else might I run into with accessing/pulling the balancer?

2001 Four Winns Funship. I'm replacing the long block with a new OEM. I've got it ready to pull out this afternoon and want to swap that over with it out of the boat. It looks much easier to do out of the boat.

I pulled the 4 screws out to remove the cover but don't see how to remove the backing plate.

Remove the 3 allen head bolts holding the pump housing on. Shown with yellow arrows.

Hummm... Thats newer than anything I've worked on. My older 5.7 has the balancer mounted pump as well. You need to remove the entire pump assembly to get to the balancer bolt that screws into the crankshaft. The puller I used had 3 bolts that screw into the balancer, I was able to borrow the puller.

Good luck, maybe someone else can provide some more specific info on your particular setup.

So when I remove the 3 allen head bolts both A and B will slide off, correct?
Also, what type of puller should I get to remove the harmonic balancer?

What is the full model number of your engine, including ALL the letters after the 5.7

I appreciate all your help Don. I'm at work and don't have that information. I'll just have to wing it after I get the pully off.
