I am missing a fuel/line primer and briggs whats $56.70 for a replacement. Does anyone know if the male fitting is 3/8 or a 1/4? Can I use another fuel/line primer?

Is that a part on the engine itself, or are you talking about the hose and bulb from the tank?

I believe it's 3/8 seven11. They sell those at wallyworld for about 3 bucks. Make sure to get 2 hose clamps to re-clamp it to your hose. The ones that came with that motor are not re-usable. Or you could just buy a whole new hose and bulb assembly from Wal*Mart for about 12 bucks. Get the one for OMC, Johnson, Evinrude, it uses the same fittings.

Hose and bulb.. Thanks I will go with 3/8..<br />Now some of those use 3/8 on each end of the hose..having a tough time finding a 3/8 male to attach to the portable tank.

Problem solved. A trip to WalMart will take care of it, as Drowned Rat points out.

seven. If you buy the whole hose and bulb assembly, don't worry about the size. That motor will use either just fine. The 3/8 and 1/4 designation is only measuring the barb part of the fittings. The part that actually attaches to the motor is the same size regardless.
