I have a US Marine Force 5 hp that needs a prop and probably a water pump kit. The Model number is 52F9A and the serial is 1627. I have no idea what the year model is. The numbers on the prop are 7 1/4 X 6 1/2 RH. Its a 3 bladed plastic looking prop. If anyone has any idea where I could locate the parts I need or could tell me what other motors parts ( if any) might interchange, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: 5 HP prop and Water Pump

Thank you. I now know more than I did before. In a quest to find a prop, every dealer seems to be going to the same place, I think, Michigan Wheel. They have an aluminum one for over $100..don't want to spend that much. The motor cranks on the first pull and runs smoothly. The water stream is wealk and since it was a used motor, I thought a water pump was in order.

I-boats may have the pump or impeller.

Port City Props dot com does rebuilds and may have one used.

There are others on the internet.

Did you try EBAY?

Type in a search for Mercury Marine part on the Inet. You may find your
parts needed there.

Mercury sells the prop for $82.86 part number 48-820110A20. A water pump kit is $100 Dollars part number 46-819026A1. Impeller is the big rip off at $62.92 part number 47-F521065-1. Funny my motor is 10 times the size and the impeller is only 1/5 the price.
