50 h.p evin. tracker with fuel problem

i have a 1990 50 hp tracker that wont run at anythign above idle speeds. when i put the boat in the water it begins jers as soon as i open the throttle. ive just rebuilt the carbs and know the timing is right. i also know that the bottom cylinder is the problem. at idle it caughs a little and as soon as i increase throttle it jerks violently. if anybody can bein to tell me where to start troubleshooting id appreciate it.

Hi Andrewflavin,<br /> If you know that the bottom cyl. is the problem, then I would say that the bottom carb. is running too lean, try cleaning that one again.<br />Good luck

you shoulda retired. could go to full time boating<br /><br /> what do you think about the possibilaties if this being a vacume leak?
