Jerry, look at the model number of your motor.<br />The last letter designates what it is.<br />Example 403F9B would be a 40hp Force, model "B".

Jerry, When ordering all my lower end parts, I never needed any model numbers. Infact I believe that this lower was used for 25Hp thru 50 Hp. I know it was widely used. Just one tip that I did find and I would advise any that are rebuilding there lower, get the "Sierra" kit. There seals are excelllent and well made. Just my experience !!!!
