50 hp evinrude

Where would I look to find out the year of my evinrude? Also my power TnT ram is leaking. Can a person just replace the upper seal or do you have to replace the whole ram?

I was able to find this number on the pump M435894

Post a model #. The model # should be on the port stern bracket.

I've looked all over it and can't find one. Kinda feel like a dummy. After some searching online, found something about a silver plug on top of power head. I found this number there
G2988620.

I called evinrude today and gave them that number off the powerhead. Guy told me it was a
ESLEI. Said it was 91 48 horse power

You can just replace the seals and not the whole ram. Go to shop.evinrude.com and look up your parts seeing you now have a model #.
