Will the whole throttle assembly pull out toward you if you grab it where it goes into box?

50 HP Force Motor

Just purchased an '89 Force Motor.<br />Manual says for starting engine adjust for fast idle to, push in button and push throttle forward, which should give you fast idle for starting. Controls do not have button to push for fast idle. How do I get fast idle without button? Help!<br /><br />burch
