it allows the extra fuel you need when you go real fast. Carbs are pretty simple just take your time. It is best if you can soak them overnight to make sure that any crud or varnish gets softened up so you can blow them out with your air compressor so you are sure they ar clean. If you don't have a compressor then soak them if you can and get a can of carb cleaner and spray each orafice out you can find and make sure that the juice comes out strong on the other end. check your needle valve under the float and make sure that it doesn't have a little ring from scoring on it. this makes them stick once in a while and will show up as the problem that you have now.

Ok if all goes well i should give it another test run in the am..Had a chance to take the botttom carb off and clean it..and clean the 2 high speed jets..Hopefully it runs normal again soo i can be ready for some striper fishing..

Our striper fishing here will wind down in the next couple weeks but I ove catching those dudes. good luck with the test run. Make sure you set the floats level when holding the carb upside down.

Well i got out this am..And she runs back to normal..Thanks for all the help guys!!
