50 thunderbolt year??

Just picked up a lil McKee with a 50 hrs mercury thunderbolt 6012284 what year could it be? was told it was an 82' but think that might be off a lil bit. Any advice??

Ok well I found it on another thread it is an 82' from what I saw. Thanks anyway.
Any advice on spark plugs?
