They are TIGHT by design. Get meaner, they will come out. Don't heat them! You need a pretty high quality socket to stand the strain. Most of us have broken a socket or two.

BTW, the installation torque spec is 348-372 INCH pounds. You must use a decent torque wrench. I don't consider a foot pound wrench to be accurate enough. That's only 2 ft pounds tolerance.

Try using a bar or torque wrench at least 14" long. They break free easily then.

A 24' wrench seem too big.--------I use a sn***n 12 point deep socket.-----Used it so many times that it wore down.---Ground off just over 1/8" and it works just like new again.----Never a problem !

???---the points wore off inside the socket.---Ground off the worn bits and the socket is like new again.----Used this socket on hundreds of these bolts , taking them off and installing them.---Never a problem !.

Oh ok, I thought you meant the bolts, thats what Im having trouble with, they like to slip very easily.

????--These are "high tensile alloy " bolts.---The material has a strength of around 180,000 PSI---Not likely to wear the points off the bolts with a quality socket !
