50Hp Johnson Will Not go full throttle

My 50 Hp Johnson runs at a low speed and conks out when I try to put the throttle higher. I have changed the spark plugs and there is a bran new gas tank and gas. The gas filter is clear. The boat was sitting for about two years before I bought it. Can anyone help me !!!PLEASE!!

I think you have to clean your carbs.<br /><br />If it picks up when you pump the primer bulb a fuel pump kit will fix it.
