50HP Replaced impeller and thermostat. No water flowing. Where to look?

Not sure if maybe there's a clog somewhere.

Drop the lower unit and make sure the key is in the impeller.
Then install lower unit and make sure the water tube is inserted into the water pump housing.
Put motor in lake or tub of water, make sure water pump is submerged in water.

Using muffs?
Some muffs don't always work right, tape it in place.

Old thread but I think his problem was that we didn't have the lower unit aligned with the water pipe. He made sure all lined up and it works.
