I recently acquired a 50TLHS. It was fine until last week it died off in the middle of the lake (Union Valley Reservoir). I had to had it towed. There was spark but it wouldn't start again.

Took it home and it started right up. After some observation, I found that the oil injection control linkage fall off from the oil pump.

Question is: would it hurt the engine so far? and should I put it back?

The repair manual shows how to adjust it, which is pretty simple I think.

Thanks,

Nam

Yes, it needs to be installed. That link controls the amount of oil that is injected. Are all the other oil injection parts in place?

Thanks BruceAML! All other parts are in place and seem to be working alright.

I'll go ahead and install that link tomorrow and see if there is any difference.
