my 2002 angler center console has a (seam) well more of a continuous crack in the paint all the way around the boat were the sides of the boat meet the deck, can u run a bead of white 5200 all the way around it to seal it? would there be any negatives to this

That center console is a 'module' that fits in the deck 'liner'.

Not normally fitted with 5200 as the console might have to be removed for tanks or access.

If your are asking if and how you should fix cracks in the Paint around the Console..then .. it would be up to the system that they fitted the Console itself.

Sure someone could have 'bridged the paint' over some caulk around the console..but the seal probably will not be broken .. unless you break it yourself. ..

Yes Pics of what your saying is recommended..

YD.

PS. You will never need 5200 unless your going to install a permanant through hull fitting or something of that nature..not deck modules.

I think you need to post a pic. I can imagine a couple of different things you may be asking about, some are of little importance, and others could be a bit of an issue.
